Keanu Reeves to Front New Cadillac F1 Series

Following the buzz surrounding Brad Pitt’s recently released F1: The Movie, another major Hollywood star is stepping into the world of motorsport storytelling.

Keanu Reeves is set to lead a new behind-the-scenes documentary series chronicling Cadillac’s ambitious journey to join Formula One as the sport’s 11th team in 2026.

The Canadian actor, a longtime motorsport enthusiast, will host a multi-part series that captures Cadillac’s two-year effort to assemble a competitive team, design their car, and build the infrastructure needed to compete in one of the most elite sporting arenas in the world.

Reeves, who turns 60 this year, is no stranger to motorsport documentaries. He previously fronted the Emmy-winning 2023 series that revisited Ross Brawn’s underdog triumph with his self-titled team, which defied expectations to win the 2009 F1 championship.

Speaking about his new project, the Matrix and John Wick star said he was both honoured and thrilled to bring Cadillac’s story to life.

“It’s a privilege to take viewers inside this unique journey and to explore what it truly takes to enter and compete at the pinnacle of global motorsport,” he said.

Reeves, an avid motorbike collector who has also participated in the Toyota GR Cup racing series in Indianapolis, is not expected to get behind the wheel of an actual F1 car during filming, unlike fellow actor Brad Pitt.

Pitt, 61, made headlines in June when he reached a top speed of 197 mph during test laps in Austin, Texas, while preparing for his Formula One movie.

McLaren boss Zak Brown, whose team supplied the modified car for the film, has since hinted that Pitt may return to the track, saying, “I think he wants to come back. He wants to hit 200!”
