Manchester United staged a dramatic comeback from two goals down twice to rescue a 4-4 draw against Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Early errors from goalkeeper Senne Lammens allowed Alysson and Nicolas Jackson to put Villa up 2-0 within four minutes, sparking loud protests against United’s ownership.
However, Bruno Fernandes converted a penalty, and Youri Tielemans struck a low, deflected shot before half-time to level the score.

Villa struck quickly again early in the second half as John McGinn converted a penalty following Diogo Dalot’s foul, before Leon Goretzka bundled in a fourth goal after a goalmouth scramble.
United refused to yield, with Joshua Zirkzee scoring in the closing stages to cut the deficit.

In the 96th minute, Patrick Dorgu pounced on a failed punch by Villa goalkeeper Zion Suzuki from a Fernandes corner to equalise.
Despite the thrilling fightback, Manchester United remain in the Premier League relegation zone with just eight points from 10 games heading into the two-week international break.
The result leaves manager Michael Carrick facing an uncertain future as the board considers potential replacements before their upcoming match against Liverpool.
