Morocco Hosts Palestinians for Rights Training

Morocco is bolstering its support for the Palestinian cause by hosting a week-long training program in Rabat for a delegation from the Human Rights and Civil Society Department of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO). The program aims to enhance skills in human rights advocacy and international law.

Organised by Morocco’s National Human Rights Council (CNDH), the training combines theoretical and practical sessions. Participants will focus on human rights documentation, international humanitarian law, and advocacy strategies to advance the Palestinian cause globally.

The CNDH president, overseeing the training, described the Palestinian issue as a crucial test of universal human rights principles. She stressed the urgent need for a clear legal and ethical response to what she termed the “ongoing violations faced by the Palestinian people.”
