With the Africa Cup of Nations heading into its final stages, the race for the Golden Boot is taking shape. Goals have come from across the continent, but a few players are clearly standing out.

Here’s a simple breakdown of the top scorers at AFCON 2025 after the semi-finals.

1. Brahim Díaz – 5 goals (Morocco)

Brahim Díaz leads the scoring chart with five goals in six matches. The Real Madrid winger has been Morocco’s most dangerous attacking player throughout the tournament.

Although he did not score in the semi-final win over Nigeria, his earlier goals keep him top of the list. Díaz will have one more chance to add to his tally in Sunday’s final against Senegal.

2. Victor Osimhen – 4 goals (Nigeria)

Nigeria’s star striker is close behind with four goals. Osimhen has been a constant threat with his pace and physical presence, leading Nigeria’s attack to the semi-finals.

Even though Nigeria are out, his goal tally keeps him still in the Golden Boot conversation.

3. Mohamed Salah – 4 goals (Egypt)

Egypt captain Mohamed Salah is also on four goals. The Liverpool forward once again carried much of Egypt’s attacking responsibility, scoring crucial goals before Egypt’s exit from the tournament.
