President Donald Trump has threatened to sue Grammy’s event host Trevor Noah following comments made on his connection to the Epstein File.
The Grammy Awards ceremony, which was held on Sunday, 1 February 2026, saw several artists speak up against the Trump administration’s immigration crackdowns.
In a post on Truth Social early Monday, Trump criticised the award ceremony, calling it unwatchable.
“ The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable. CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer.”
The president further called out Noah’s joke, which insinuated that he had spent time at Epstein’s island.

“Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!!
“I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media,” the post added.
Trump further cautioned Noah to get his facts right or face being sued.
“It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C.
“Get ready, Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”
Noah had made several jibes at Trump throughout the show, stating: “Song of the Year, that is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.”
Meanwhile, Disney is expected to take over the broadcast rights for the award ceremony starting next year.
