Reza Pahlavi, the son of Iran’s last Shah, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and a staunch opponent of the Islamic Government of Iran, has hailed the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and unveiled a post-regime transition plan for Iran.

Pahlavi said Khamenei’s cohorts are carrying out a series of attacks and making threats because they are aware that the Islamic Republic is on the brink of collapse. According to the exiled prince, Iranians are demanding a credible new path forward.

“The Islamic Republic is close to collapse. Ali Khamenei and his thugs know this. That’s why they are lashing out like a wounded animal, desperate to cling to power. The people have not retreated. Their determination has made one thing clear. They are not merely rejecting this regime,” said Pahlavi.

He outlined his vision for Iran after the collapse of the current regime, promising a peaceful, stable, and orderly transition to a democratic regime in which Iran will live at peace with neighbouring countries. He said that the democratic regime will be an engine of growth and opportunity in the region and the world.

“My team of experts have developed a plan for the first 100 days after the regime’s collapse and the long-term reconstruction and stabilisation of our country. It is backed by business leaders and provides a detailed roadmap for national recovery,” He added.

Pahlavi’s father, the last Shah overthrown, and the monarchy was abolished by the Iranian Revolution led by Ruhollah Khomeini, a former Supreme Leader of Iran, in 1979.

Following the death of his father in exile in Cairo, Egypt, Pahlavi declared himself Shah of Iran.
