In Pictures: Accident Occurs on Otedola Bridge

An accident involving a truck has caused heavy traffic along the busy Otedola Bridge in Lagos, leaving many motorists stranded.

The incident, which occurred on Wednesday morning, disrupted traffic flow on the major route, leading to significant gridlock for commuters heading towards different parts of the city.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said a towing van was initially brought in to remove the container truck from the road. However, the towing vehicle reportedly developed a fault, further delaying efforts to clear the obstruction.

Another towing van was later deployed to remove the truck and other affected vehicles in an attempt to ease the traffic congestion caused by the accident.
