The President is also scheduled to inaugurate the Lagos State Geographic Information Service and a multi-agency government building, both located in Alausa.

Additional projects lined up for commissioning include the Tolu Schools Complex in Ajegunle, the Maracana sports facility featuring 19 mini football pitches, and the Lagos Food Logistics Hub in Abijo.

The Tolu Schools Complex spans 11.7 hectares and houses 36 primary, junior, and senior secondary schools, projecting to accommodate over 20,000 students.

Following an inspection of the facility on April 1, Sanwo-Olu described the development as the largest school cluster on the continent, noting that it brings together multiple levels of education within a single, well-equipped environment.

He added that the complex includes modern classrooms and recreational facilities such as football fields and basketball courts.

“This complex brings together 36 schools across primary, junior, and senior secondary levels, spread over 11.7 hectares. It is set to serve over 20,000 students and stands as the largest school community in Africa, with well-equipped classrooms, football fields, basketball courts, and other modern facilities,” he said on his X (formerly Twitter) handle.

The governor reiterated that expanding access to quality education remains a core priority of his administration, emphasising continued efforts to improve learning infrastructure across the state.
