Special Adviser on Transportation to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Sola Giwa, has stepped down from his role.
Giwa announced his resignation in a post made on his official X (formerly Twitter) page, describing his time in office as a privilege and expressing appreciation to the governor for the opportunity to serve.
Yesterday, I stepped down from my role as Special Adviser on Transportation to the Governor of Lagos State.

He said his decision followed consultations and careful consideration, adding that he is now seeking to represent Lagos Island Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives.

According to him, the move marks a transition toward pursuing legislative responsibilities and broader representation, with a focus on delivering tangible outcomes for his constituents.
