Activist Aisha Yesufu has endorsed the “Osun Script” campaign, urging Nigerians to adopt its approach to monitoring votes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Yesufu announced her participation in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, sharing a personalised campaign poster generated through an online platform that allows users to declare their commitment to protecting their votes.
I am Aisha Yesufu from FCT. I will vote NDC on 16 January 2027 and play the Osun Script to protect my vote: vote, stay, count, snap the result sheet. 2027 is not 2023. Learn the Osun Script and make your own pledge.

In her pledge, she identified herself as a resident of the Federal Capital Territory and stated that she intended to vote for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the January 16, 2027 election.
She also outlined the steps she planned to take to safeguard her ballot, including remaining at her polling unit to observe the counting process and taking a photograph of the result sheet.
“I am Aisha Yesufu from FCT. I will vote NDC on 16 January 2027 and play the Osun Script to protect my vote: vote, stay, count, snap the result sheet,” she said.
Yesufu encouraged Nigerians to participate in the campaign, arguing that the 2027 elections should be approached differently from the 2023 general elections. She urged voters to learn the Osun Script and make their own public commitments to monitoring the electoral process.
“2027 is not 2023. Learn the Osun Script and make your own pledge,” she added.

The activist also called for support for NDC presidential Candidate Peter Obi and former Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso, using the hashtags #YouRigWeOsunYou and #VoteNDC.
The campaign operates through an online form that generates personalised posters containing participants’ details and pledges. Users are encouraged to circulate the graphics on social media to promote the initiative.

The Osun Script takes its name from the 2026 Osun State governorship election, in which incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke, who contested under the Accord Party, defeated the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO.
Adeleke secured 511,067 votes against Oyebamiji’s 444,815, winning by a margin of 66,252 votes. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke the winner on August 16, 2026, following the election held the previous day.
The campaign’s guiding phrase, “vote, stay, count, snap the result sheet”, encourages voters to cast their ballots, remain at polling units to observe the counting of votes and photograph result sheets where permitted.
