The minister said the funds had reached the relevant embassy accounts, and missions are expected to commence immediate payment to affected scholars.

He advised beneficiaries to monitor their accounts as payments would begin to reflect.

Alausa said the development reflects President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to the welfare of Nigerian students abroad under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He commended the scholars’ patience and assured them that the government remains committed to meeting its obligations under the scholarship scheme.

The minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the welfare and academic success of Nigerian students studying abroad.
