APC Sets Deadline for Submission of Primary Results

The All Progressives Congress has announced that all governorship, senatorial, house of representatives and state assembly primary election results must be submitted by Monday, May 25, 2026.

In a press statement issued on Sunday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the directive applies to all Primary Election Committees for the 2027 General Elections Primaries and Legislative Bye-Elections.

According to a notice issued by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the submission of legislative bye-election results and reports will commence on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

“All relevant Committees are directed to ensure the timely, accurate, and complete submission of all required documents within the stipulated deadlines,” Morka said.

 

The APC conducted its governorship and legislative primaries across the country on Thursday and Friday, while the presidential primary was held on Saturday. President Bola Tinubu emerged as the party’s presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
