Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike has said that Abuja residents are experiencing unprecedented infrastructure development under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Speaking on Wednesday during the flag-off of a road project in the Gaduwa District of Abuja, Wike said no district in the FCT can claim to have been left out of the ongoing development efforts.
“Today, you are in the Gaduwa district. We have been to Jahi, Gwarinpa, we have been to Katampe, we have been to Guzape, virtually all the districts,” he said.
“Nobody will say, no district will say that they are not feeling the impact of this administration, unlike what used to be.”

The FCT minister credited the infrastructure development to Tinubu’s support and the prompt approval of the FCT budget by the National Assembly, which he said had enabled the administration to execute projects across the territory.
“I’m sure it has never been so in the history of the FCT, where citizens, where residents, cannot feel and touch the impact of governance. This is the first time,” he said.
Wike expressed confidence that the territory would witness even greater development during Tinubu’s tenure.
The minister also disclosed plans to assign names to roads across the FCT rather than identify them by project descriptions. This, according to him, would make them easier for residents to recognise.
