English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho in a move that could reach £85m, with an initial fee of £75m and a further £10m available in performance-related add-ons.
The 22-year-old is expected to undergo a medical before completing a long-term contract with Spurs, ending a transfer pursuit that has lasted more than a year.
Tottenham first attempted to sign Savinho last summer, but the winger chose to remain at the Etihad Stadium. However, his opportunities under Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola were limited in the previous Premier League campaign, with the Brazil international making only seven starts.
Savinho’s arrival comes as new Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi continues to reshape his attacking options after already spending heavily in midfield. Spurs have completed major deals for Mateus Fernandes from West Ham and Sandro Tonali from Newcastle, with their summer spending now expected to pass the £300m mark.

The north London club have offset some of their expenditure through player sales, including the departures of Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Luka Vuskovic, which have generated around £140m.
Tottenham are also exploring further attacking reinforcements. Talks for Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush are reportedly progressing, while Spurs remain interested in Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo.
Marmoush, who joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59m in 2025, struggled for regular playing time last season and fell down the pecking order at the club.
Savinho’s expected move adds more attacking quality to a Tottenham side preparing for the new Premier League season. Spurs begin their campaign away at Brentford on Saturday, while Manchester City host Bournemouth on Sunday.
