An Argentine court suspended the trial investigating the death of football legend Diego Maradona on Thursday after defence lawyers raised doubts about key medical evidence.
The defence alleged that kidney test results presented in court belonged not to Maradona but to his father, who passed away in 2015.
The court adjourned proceedings until August 27 to allow authorities to review the disputed medical records.

Seven healthcare workers currently face charges of criminal negligence regarding the medical care Maradona received while recovering from surgery before his death at age 60 in November 2020.
