Senegal will offer 109 oil and gas blocks to local and international investors during an upcoming investment roadshow, according to Energy Minister El Hadji Abdourahmane Diouf.

Out of the West African nation’s 113 total oil and gas blocks, only four currently operate under existing contracts.

The government intends to leverage this massive licensing round to build domestic capacity alongside foreign investment.
