A crash involving three trucks and a car has occurred at Otedola, just before the Bridge, inward Berger, Lagos State.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, disclosed this in a post on its X(formerly Twitter) handle on Wednesday.

According to the agency, the vehicles crashed before Otedola Bridge, prompting its officers to mobilise for rescue and evacuation operations.
LASTMA said personnel from the Nigerian Police Force and other relevant first responders were also at the scene to support the operation.
“A multiple-vehicle accident involving three trucks and a car has occurred at Otedola, just before the bridge inward Berger.
“Our officers have promptly mobilised to the scene to commence necessary interventions, including rescue and evacuation operations. Personnel of the Nigerian Police Force and other relevant first responders are also on the ground to support and facilitate the operations,” the agency stated.
The agency said the crash had created a traffic backlog stretching as far as the Toll Gate.
It added that its personnel were managing traffic around the area to limit the impact of the incident and restore normal movement.
The latest crash occurred as motorists and commuters were still dealing with severe congestion caused by a separate multiple-vehicle crash at Kara Bridge on Tuesday.
The Kara incident involved seven vehicles and disrupted traffic towards Ogun State, with the resulting gridlock extending beyond the Long Bridge towards Magboro and into Lagos.
Motorists and commuters were reportedly trapped in the congestion for more than 14 hours as traffic worsened throughout Tuesday.
As the gridlock intensified, some motorists drove against traffic in an attempt to escape the congestion, creating another bottleneck for vehicles travelling towards Lagos.
It was observed that motorists heading from Lagos towards Ogun State were already caught in traffic as early as 7am on Tuesday, with the situation deteriorating throughout the day.
