Flight operations at Luxembourg Airport were temporarily suspended overnight into Saturday after unauthorised drones were spotted in the area.
The airport said flights had resumed after the precautionary suspension, which followed the detection of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) near and later over the airport, according to AFP.

It said the measure was taken to protect passengers, airline crews, airport staff and aircraft.
The airport did not disclose who was operating the drones or where they came from.
Authorities said the situation remained under observation and warned passengers to expect possible delays and disruptions to air traffic.
