The victory restores the APC’s representation for Dawakin Kudu in the Kano State House of Assembly following a period of vacancy that prompted the legislative by-election.

Conducted by INEC under heightened security measures to ensure a peaceful voting process, the poll gives the APC a reinforced presence in the state legislature, where party representation remains fiercely contested between major political factions in Kano.
