Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has revealed that she has endured severe pain and mobility challenges for months, forcing her to depend on a wheelchair.
Daniels shared the news in a video posted on Instagram on Saturday to mark her 25th birthday. She also explained her long absence from social media. The mother of two said her condition began as a minor health issue but gradually worsened. At times, she struggled to move around and could not walk.
“I know many of you may be surprised seeing me in a wheelchair. Well, welcome to another chapter of my life. Let me walk you through what my life has been since many of you have asked questions about my absence,” she said.

The actress said she began losing her ability to move freely several months ago. However, her condition worsened after the children’s carnival she hosted.
“For several months now, I have lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this,” she added.

She added that the pain later became severe despite undergoing several medical tests.
“One test after another, I jokingly started calling myself elaborate. The pain became excruciating. Sometimes I can walk, and sometimes I can’t move. I cried,” Daniels said.
Despite the difficult experience, she expressed gratitude for the progress she has made in her recovery. She also said her faith in God has helped her cope. Daniels explained that her decision to speak publicly about her health followed encouraging developments in her recovery.
