The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) announced on Tuesday that it has further extended its Special Passport Intervention Exercise in the United Kingdom to meet sustained demand from the Nigerian diaspora.
According to a public announcement signed by NIS spokesperson DCI Akinsola Akinlabi, the exercise will now run from November 3 to November 27, 2026, at designated centres.
The intervention will take place in London and Manchester from November 3 to 27, while operations in Aberdeen and Cardiff will be held from November 3 to 6.
Applicants are required to book appointments in advance and strictly adhere to their scheduled times.

The NIS warned that cash payments will not be accepted at the venues and only those with prior bookings will be attended to.
Required documents include a completed application form, payment slip, appointment printout, and a self-addressed return envelope.
For those unable to visit the physical centres, the agency noted that its recently upgraded Contactless Passport Application System remains available for remote renewals.
“The Nigeria Immigration Service remains committed to efficient, transparent and responsive passport Service Delivery to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora,” the NIS said.
In a public announcement posted on its official X handle on Tuesday, the NIS said the Cardiff Centre has been relocated from the Western Leisure Centre to the Mandy Leisure Centre.
The change follows the agency’s earlier announcement extending the intervention exercise across the UK to meet sustained diaspora demand.
