Some secondary school students have taken to the streets of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to protest against President Bola Tinubu’s administration, chanting “Tinubu Must Go” as they marched through heavy rainfall.
A video circulating on social media captured the students participating in the demonstration despite the downpour, with many seen walking along the streets while chanting slogans calling for the President to leave office.
The students appeared undeterred by the rain as they continued their march, expressing dissatisfaction with the state of affairs in the country.

Their decision to continue marching despite the rainfall has attracted attention, with the video generating discussions among Nigerians on social media.
The involvement of secondary school students in the demonstration has also sparked reactions, particularly over the participation of young people in protests against the Nigerian Government.
However, the exact number of students involved, the organisers of the protest and the specific grievances that prompted the demonstration have not been established.
The protest comes amid public concerns over Nigeria’s economic situation, the rising cost of living and the performance of the Tinubu administration.
Further details about the demonstration, including whether the students were representing any particular group or organisation, remain unclear.
