Nollywood star Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi is taking a firm stand against online trolls.
The actress, through her legal representatives at Whitestone Solicitors and Consultancy, has issued a formal cease and desist notice to the general public, demanding an immediate end to the circulation of “false, misleading and defamatory” statements about her.
In the notice dated November 5, 2026, the law firm stated that the rumours are capable of damaging the screen star’s professional image and personal integrity.

The lawyers specifically called out bloggers, social media users, and content creators, warning them against participating in what they described as a coordinated smear campaign.
According to the solicitors, “known persons” are taking cover under sponsored individuals to push malicious narratives about the actress.

The legal notice outlined strict directives for the public, which include immediately halting the publication or reposting of unverified information, removing existing defamatory content from all platforms, and refraining from using social media to encourage cyberbullying or harassment against her.
“Take notice that any person who continues to publish, circulate, endorse or amplify false and defamatory statements after receiving this notice shall be held legally responsible for their actions and may face appropriate legal proceedings,” the document warned.
The firm emphasised that freedom of expression does not give anyone the right to unlawfully injure another person’s reputation. They advised the public to exercise restraint and verify information before hitting the publish button.
The notice was signed by Tope Salami, Esq.
