Nigeria’s new Police Chief has made pledges to radically transform the nation’s police force

Alkali Baba who was recently appointed by Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari assured citizens of his commitment to ensuring the Police adhere to global tenets of human rights.

Baba while speaking to journalists in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, during his maiden Press conference assured he will provide a much needed responsible leadership, and called for cooperation with the public.
