Bauchi Demands Release Of Three APM Supporters

The Bauchi State Government has demanded the immediate release of three people allegedly arrested during Saturday’s State House of Assembly bye-elections.

The Bauchi State Government’s demand came during the bye-election held across the affected constituencies on Saturday.

The State Deputy Governor, Auwal Jatau, made the demand while speaking to journalists after monitoring voting in parts of Zaki Local Government Area.

The three APM supporters were reportedly arrested by security operatives in the Zaki and Disina constituencies.

Jatau alleged that the security operatives were deployed from Abuja.

He also claimed they arrested and intimidated some supporters of the All Progressives Movement (APM).
