An Amazon cargo plane overshot a runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, striking multiple vehicles and bursting into flames.

Prime Air Flight 7598, a Boeing 767 arriving from Puerto Rico around 2:00 PM, overran the tarmac and triggered a massive emergency response.

Video footage showed thick black smoke billowing from the aircraft as more than 60 firefighters rushed to extinguish the blaze and assess potential casualties.

The Miami-Dade Fire Department confirmed that the crash ignited a fire after the plane collided with ground vehicles near the perimeter of the runway.

Officials from both the airport and the Federal Aviation Administration immediately halted all operations, shutting down every runway and taxiway across the airport.

First responders continue to work at the scene to control the fire and determine the full extent of injuries and damage.
