Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei warned the United States and Israel on Saturday against launching fresh military or terrorist attacks, cautioning that Iranian forces will dictate the timing and conditions for ending any renewed conflict.

“Should Iran’s enemies resume military or terrorist attacks, it will be the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation that will determine when and under what conditions those attacks will end,” he stated on X.

During a high-level briefing with top military commanders, Khamenei instructed defence leaders to execute an immediate, high-impact, and geographically unrestricted response to any foreign aggression.

“Any level or type of threat must be met with an immediate, impactful, and geographically unrestricted response,” he posted, while also directing commanders that “the military target database must be updated comprehensively to ensure that all kinds of physical and non-physical assets of the US-Zionist enemy are brought within the reach of the Armed Forces.”

To support this strategic posture, the Supreme Leader emphasised the necessity of internal readiness and public unity.

“Spiritual foundations and the spirit of jihad must be strengthened, and unremitting efforts must be made to meet the livelihood needs of Armed Forces personnel and provide them with the necessary support,” Khamenei noted.

He added that “nationwide support for the Armed Forces is one of the pillars of deterrence against anti-Iranian foreign powers and their domestic mercenaries.”
