Nigerian Afrobeats singer Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi, popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has alleged that he was defrauded of $4 million while purchasing a property in Lagos State.

Speaking during an Instagram Live session, the singer claimed he later discovered that the property was allegedly stolen, leaving him in financial and emotional distress.

Bella Shmurda said the seller had disappeared after the transaction and appealed to Nigerians to help locate the individual.

“Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property,” he said.

“And now the seller has disappeared. Please, help me. Someone step in. I’ve got nothing left. I worked for years for this. I can’t lose $4 million like that.”

The Cash App singer said he had contacted his lawyer to investigate the matter and pursue legal action to recover his money and resolve the ownership dispute.

“I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation,” he said.
