Grammy-nominated Afrobeats star Davido has revealed that his personal monthly expenses in Nigeria range between $200,000 and $300,000, excluding the costs of his wife, household maintenance, luxury cars and jewellery.
The singer disclosed this during a live conversation on Davrel Twitch, where he compared his spending in Nigeria with his expenses in the United States.

According to Davido, he spends less while in the US because he lives with only his wife and children.
“I actually spend less in America because I live with just me, my wife and my kids. When I’m around, I spend a lot more. We are balling every day,” he said.
When asked to estimate his monthly spending, the singer said it usually falls between $200,000 and $300,000, stressing that the figure covers only his personal expenses.
“I can’t tell you how much, but I can tell you like 300. Normally, probably like 200 to 300. This is minus my wife and the house. Minus buying jewellery or buying car,” he said.
Davido also spoke about his desire to support former celebrities struggling with life after fame, revealing plans to establish a mental health therapy centre for them.
“If there is one thing I could do, I would build a centre for people that have been popular and very successful before,” he said.
