Member of the House of Representatives for Ikeja Federal Constituency, James Faleke, has picked up the All Progressives Congress (APC) expression of interest and nomination forms on behalf of President Bola Tinubu.

Suleiman Argungu, the APC National Organising Secretary, formally presented the forms to Faleke, who is also the founder of the Tinubu Support Groups, at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Tuesday, April 28.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed the Presidential and National Assembly elections for Saturday, January 16, 2027, while the Governorship and State Houses of Assembly polls are scheduled for Saturday, February 6, 2027.
According to INEC’s timetable, the party primaries and the resolution of pre-election disputes will commence between April 23 and May 30, 2026. Campaigns for the presidential and National Assembly elections will begin on August 19, while governorship and state assembly campaigns will start on September 9.
