“The suspect, an Arabic teacher, was employed by leaders of Fijai Zongo Central Community to teach their children Arabic on weekends. Police investigation indicates that the suspect lured victims into a store room inside the mosque with the pretext of doing spiritual cleansing for them and ended up sodomizing and defiling the minors.”

Adiku said the Gender Court in Sekondi had issued a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday. The police described Anas as a fair-complexioned man who is 5.7 feet tall.
The cleric is believed to have fled to Côte d’Ivoire or Togo, where he is in hiding.
Adiku further urged Ghanaians to assist the police in tracking the cleric’s whereabouts.
“The Command is urging anyone with credible information on the whereabouts of suspect Anas Sule, who is currently on the run, to contact the Western Regional Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit, the nearest Police or call 191 or 112 for his arrest,” the police added.
