SpaceX CEO Elon Musk announced Sunday that he will rename his aerospace company’s AI division to SpaceXSI, aligning with U.S. President Donald Trump’s initiative to replace the term “artificial intelligence” with “super intelligence.”
Responding directly to an inquiry on X regarding a potential shift from SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI, Musk confirmed, “Yes, we will make that change.”
The announcement follows remarks by President Trump during a speech to the UN General Assembly last month, where he advocated for the global adoption of the updated terminology.

“From this point forward, all of United States documents, and hopefully the world’s, will be changed to use the much more accurate term ‘super’ as opposed to artificial. So it’s super intelligence,” Trump stated.

Musk provided no specific timeline for the rebrand, nor did he offer further details on how the transition will proceed.
As of publication, the official SpaceXAI account on X remains unchanged, and the entity did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
