A passenger was reportedly killed and three others injured when two commercial tricycles collided along Haske Road near Lamingo Golf Club in Jos, Plateau State.
The crash reportedly occurred on Monday evening.
An eyewitness, Joseph Haruna, told Punch that the accident happened around 5 p.m. after one of the tricycle operators allegedly swerved to avoid a pothole and crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
According to him, the impact of the collision left one passenger dead at the scene, while three others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
Haruna said the injured victims were quickly evacuated by residents and emergency responders to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Another witness described the incident as tragic and urged authorities to urgently repair potholes along the road, warning that they pose a serious risk to motorists and other road users.
The accident caused temporary traffic congestion in the area as residents and commuters gathered at the scene.
When contacted by Punch News, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Public Education Officer in Plateau State, Peter Longsan, said he would verify details of the incident.
