Oyebode said the appointments take effect immediately and reflect the importance of the affected sectors to the Oyebanji administration’s development priorities.

The appointments came hours after Governor Oyebanji swore in Professor Habibat Adubiaro as Secretary to the State Government and Oyeniyi Adebayo as Chief of Staff.
Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony, Oyebanji said his second-term administration would demand higher standards of service delivery from public officials. He asked the reappointed officials to draw on the experience gained during his first term and carry out their responsibilities with greater diligence, discipline and accountability.
The governor also warned against complacency, saying previous experience in government would no longer excuse lapses in performance.
Oyebanji described Adubiaro and Adebayo as experienced officials who had served his administration since its first term, but said their reappointment came with greater responsibility. He added that his administration would place stronger emphasis on performance as it pursues projects and policies in infrastructure, transportation and other critical sectors across Ekiti State.
