Russian strikes killed three people and wounded six others in Ukraine’s northeastern Kharkiv region early Tuesday.
Regional Governor Oleg Synegubov confirmed on Telegram that the attack struck the city of Chuguiv, claiming three lives.
Separately, Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov reported that the strikes wounded six residents in his city.
These casualties follow intensified daily Russian attacks on civilian areas in recent months.
Ukraine has responded to the escalation by launching drone strikes against military and energy facilities deeper inside Russian territory.

According to United Nations estimates, the conflict has exacted a massive civilian toll since the February 2022 invasion.
The UN reports that the war has killed at least 15,850 civilians in Ukrainian-controlled zones and more than 2,800 in Russian-occupied areas, while injuring over 44,800 people across both regions.
