United States (US) Vice President JD Vance has welcomed his fourth child, a baby boy, with his wife, Usha Vance.

Vance announced the birth on Sunday in a post on X, saying both mother and baby are doing well.

“Usha and the baby are happy and healthy and our kids are overjoyed to meet their little brother,” he wrote.

The 41-year-old vice president is now the father of four children, three boys and one girl, all under the age of 10.

Vance has often spoken about encouraging larger families in the United States (US).

Speaking at an anti-abortion rally in January 2025, he said:

“I want more babies in the United States of America.”

Many members of President Donald Trump’s administration have also expressed support for larger families.

However, despite those views, the administration has yet to fulfil Vance’s promise made at the same rally to make life more affordable for American families.
