Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has approved the appointment of 16 directors to oversee various directorates of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, in a move aimed at strengthening the organisation’s operations and expanding its national reach.

Uzodimma, who also serves as the group’s director general and national coordinator, announced the appointments on Friday, saying the new leadership structure would help advance the organisation’s mandate to promote President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the country.

In a statement signed by the organisation’s Director of Media and Publicity, Tunde Rahman, the organisation said the newly appointed directors would oversee 16 specialised directorates considered critical to its operations. The statement said the appointments were part of efforts to improve coordination, efficiency and grassroots engagement across the country.

According to Uzodimma, the appointments were intended to strengthen the group’s capacity to communicate the achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda nationwide.

The leadership structure of the organisation includes Uba Sani as deputy director general, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya as secretary and James Abiodun Faleke as deputy secretary.

It also operates through a nationwide framework comprising six zonal coordinators, 37 state coordinators, and 774 local government coordinators, reflecting its grassroots mobilisation strategy.

Among those appointed are Mustapha Abdullahi for Youth, Olisa Metuh for Organisation and Mobilisation, Sunday Dare for Digital and New Media, Mele Kyari for Finance and Muiz Banire for Monitoring, Compliance and Legal.

Others are Bisoye Coker-Odusote for Technology and Data, Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar for Support Groups, Ibrahim Garba for Intelligence, Senator Sani Musa for Special Duties, Simon Karu for Planning, Halima Suleiman Zakari for Welfare and Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri for Administration.

Also appointed were Bilikisu Muhammed Kaika for Women Affairs, Abike Dabiri-Erewa for Diaspora and Hadiza Bala Usman for Research and Innovation.

Uzodimma said the broader goal was to ensure that Nigerians across the country understand and feel the impact of government policies and programmes.

“Our goal is to ensure that every Nigerian, regardless of location, understands and feels the impact of government policies and programmes,” he said.

The organisation expressed confidence that the new leadership team would strengthen nationwide mobilisation efforts ahead of future political activities.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors initiative was launched in November 2025 as a platform to communicate government policies, programmes and achievements to Nigerians at the grassroots level, particularly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
