Venezia have clinched promotion to the Italian top flight after a dramatic 2-2 draw against La Spezia on Friday.
Despite blowing a two-goal lead in the closing minutes of their match, the Venetians secured their spot in Serie A thanks to a last-minute goal in a separate fixture.
Mantova’s 96th-minute winner against third-placed Monza ensured that Venezia would finish in the top two, regardless of the final matchday results.
With 79 points currently on the board, the American-owned club is guaranteed an automatic promotion spot.
This marks Venezia’s 15th season in the top flight, and the team will be focused on breaking their historical “yo-yo” trend of immediate relegation following promotion.

Frosinone is also on the verge of joining them in the top flight after moving into second place with 78 points following a 1-0 victory over Juve Stabia.
They now sit three points ahead of Monza and require only a single point from their final game to secure promotion.
The final remaining spot in Serie A will be determined through a play-off tournament involving the teams finishing between third and eighth place.
