15 Kidnap Victims Rescued by Kaduna Police Command

Kaduna State Police Command on Saturday rescued 15 kidnapped victims in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of the state.

The victims who were traveling along the Buruku- Birnin Gwari road around Ungwan Yako forest were intercepted by the marauders in an attempt to kidnap them before the arrival of the police.

Spokesman of the Kaduna Police Command, Mohammed Jalige, noted the bandits, in large numbers, had dangerous weapons and blocked off two vehicles with their 15 passengers.

The swift response of Operatives of the Kaduna Police Command forced the bandits to retreat, abandoning their victims.

Police operatives also recovered 32 rustled cows from bandits in Kajuru Local Government Area.

The bandits were funall6 intercepted around Dutsin Gaya Village of Kajuru LGA while they were moving large herds of cattle.

After a fierce gun battle with the troops the state’s security Operatives recovered the rustled cows.
