The United Nations Security Council has ordered an immediate ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza.
The UNSC also demanded the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages. The United States refrained from voting.
The remaining 14 council members voted in support of the resolution on Monday.
