Israel’s military announced it will bolster forces in the Gaza Strip following Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu‘s earlier vow to launch “intense fighting” if Israeli hostages are not freed by Saturday.
In an announcement on Tuesday, the military stated that “it was decided to increase reinforcements with additional troops, including reservists,” and that the action was “carried out in preparation for various scenarios.”
