A building under construction has collapsed at No. 3 Craig Street in the Shomolu area of Lagos on Monday, June 16.
News Central reports that there are fears that some individuals may be trapped beneath the rubble. Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred in the afternoon, sending residents and passersby into panic.
As of the time of filing this report, emergency responders including officials from the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and other safety agencies were yet to arrive at the scene.
Rescue efforts are expected to begin once emergency personnel are on ground.
