The West Indies secured a thrilling two-wicket victory over Pakistan on Saturday, thanks to an unbeaten performance by Jason Holder, who hit a four on the final ball to level the three-match T20 series at 1-1.

Holder had a career night, not only scoring the winning runs but also taking four wickets earlier in the game to set a new West Indies T20I record of 81 career wickets, surpassing Dwayne Bravo’s previous record.

The West Indies, chasing 134 for victory, were on the verge of a seventh consecutive T20 loss after being swept 5-0 by Australia last month. With just one over remaining, they needed 24 runs to win.

Despite losing a late wicket, Holder and Romario Shepherd put up a crucial partnership. Holder ultimately sealed the victory on the final delivery, needing three runs with one ball left.

Pakistan, who won the toss and batted first, finished their innings with 133 for nine. Hasan Nawaz was their top scorer with 40 runs, while captain Salman Agha contributed 38.

The series will now be decided on Sunday in the final match, also played in Lauderhill.
