The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and its technical partner, PUMA, have unveiled a special edition of the official match ball for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 finals.
Hosts Morocco will face Senegal at Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah on Sunday, with kickoff scheduled for 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT), where one team will be crowned the champions of Africa.
CAF explained that the finalists will use a commemorative version of the ITRI match ball, featuring gold accents to pay tribute to both teams.
The ball, used throughout the tournament, was described as having a striking design inspired by traditional Moroccan zellij geometric patterns, including central star motifs, floral outlines, and circular symmetry.

CAF noted that the ball is built on PUMA’s advanced Orbita 6 technology, combining heritage with innovation to meet performance standards for elite-level competition while celebrating African culture.
