APC Releases 2027 Election Timetable

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued on Monday night by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, the APC said presidential aspirants will pay N30 million for the expression of interest form and N70 million for the nomination form.

For governorship aspirants, the party fixed the expression of interest form at N10 million, while the nomination form will cost N40 million.

Senate hopefuls are expected to pay N3 million for the expression of interest form and N17 million for the nomination form. Those seeking seats in the House of Representatives will pay N1 million and N9 million, respectively.

For state House of Assembly aspirants, the expression of interest form was pegged at N1 million, while the nomination form will cost N5 million.

The party added that female aspirants, youths and persons living with disabilities will pay the full expression of interest fee but enjoy a 50 per cent discount on the nomination form.

According to the timetable, the APC presidential primary is scheduled for May 15 and 16.

The House of Representatives primary will hold on May 18, followed by the Senate primary on May 20, state House of Assembly primaries on May 21, and governorship primaries on May 23.
