According to Adiku, the police, upon receipt of the information, visited the scene and found the victim lying in a pool of blood with multiple cuts on her face.

The victim was taken to the Agona Nkwanta Polyclinic for medical treatment but was later pronounced dead.

Ntow was thereafter arrested by the Regional Police Intelligence team, together with the Agona Nkwanta Police, at his hideout in Nsuaem on June 2, 2026.

He was arraigned the following day at the Apollo Circuit Court in Takoradi and was remanded in prison custody to reappear on June 17, 2026.
