A Sudanese army drone strike killed 35 people and wounded several others on Sunday after hitting a traditional court in Garra al-Zawaya village in western Darfur.
The Emergency Lawyers Rights Group reported that the strike hit the RSF-controlled area around 1:00 p.m. local time while dozens of civilians gathered to resolve local and tribal disputes.
The deadly attack follows recent military advances by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in neighbouring Kordofan, prompting RSF leader Mohamed Hamdan Daglo to declare his forces “unleashed.”

As drone warfare intensifies across Sudan, the ongoing conflict continues to deepen what the United Nations identifies as the world’s largest hunger crisis.
