Five-time Grammy winner Angelique Kidjo has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, becoming the first African musician and the first Black African to receive the recognition on the famous Hollywood Boulevard.

The Benin-born singer has built a global career spanning more than four decades, earning international acclaim for her powerful vocals, cultural influence and contributions to world music.
