Ferrari has revealed its first fully electric vehicle, the Luce, joining luxury rivals in the growing electric-car market
The company said on Monday that the Luce, which means “Light” in Italian, can reach speeds of over 310 kilometres per hour and travel more than 530 kilometres on a full charge. The electric car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in just 2.5 seconds and is powered by a 122 kWh battery.

Also, the Luce is Ferrari’s heaviest car ever at 2.26 tonnes. It is only the second four-door model in the company’s history and its first five-seater vehicle.
“We are inaugurating a chapter that turns our vision into reality,” Ferrari chairman John Elkann said.

The launch comes as global demand for electric vehicles slows, with many luxury carmakers reducing their electric-vehicle targets due to weaker-than-expected sales.
Recall, in 2025, Ferrari lowered its target for electric vehicles in its lineup by 2030 from 40 percent to 20 percent.
