Morocco’s coach, Mohamed Ouahbi, has announced that Achraf Hakimi of Paris Saint-Germain and Brahim Diaz of Real Madrid headline Morocco’s 2026 World Cup squad.
Ouahbi, who took charge of the national team three months ago, retained most of the players who featured at the Africa Cup of Nations.
He also introduced several new faces, including Fulham defender Issa Diop, Strasbourg midfielder Samir El Mourabet, and Franco-Moroccan youngster Ayoub Bouaddi of Lille, who recently committed his international future to Morocco over France.

Morocco will open its World Cup campaign against Brazil, followed by fixtures against Scotland and Haiti in Group C.
The squad reflects a blend of experienced internationals and emerging talent, with Ouahbi maintaining continuity while gradually integrating fresh options into the team.
